An unlimited automatic responder is at least as important as your website is when it comes to making money online. It is also known as an autoresponder, and now that I think about it, I would say that it is even more important than having a website.
My reason for saying that is because there are a lot of places online that will give a web presence.
Of course, it is preferable to have both your own site and an unlimited automatic responder. The cost is only about $30 per month, and that is all you really need to spend to get started making money online.
Of course, once you are bringing in the cash, you will want to invest some of it in more tools that can speed up the process and make you even more money, but there is no need to buy into expensive programs that promise to turn your computer into your own ATM, and other such nonsense.
Your autoresponder service will give you access to their software so that you can write emails that will be loaded and ready to go out in the order you want, whenever someone subscribes to your email newsletter. If you do this the right way, you can generate an income that is largely automated.
It’s never completely automated, because you will need to work on getting targeted traffic to your offer page. That is where you, more or less, bribe them to join your list, with a free report or ebook, on a subject they are interested in. There might be other enticements, like discount coupons, etc.
After they have opted in to your newsletter, they will find themselves on the download page where they collect the thing that enticed them with, to subscribe to your list. They will continue to receive your emails unless they unsubscribe via the link of the bottom of each one. Note: You can also send out live broadcasts. These are fresh emails that you write to be sent out that day, usually.
What is going to happen, if you follow the list building formula, is you are going to build a relationship, by way of the emails you wrote, that is going to help your subscribers to like and trust you. You do this by continuing to be helpful, and offering to reply to their emails, etc.
Let’s face it: people prefer to do business with people when we trust them & like them. Your emails are also going to offer things for sale; either affiliate products or your own products. So, if you do this correctly, you absolutely will have people who buy from you.
Some people who buy will buy from you repeatedly. Unlimited automatic responders is how most sales are made on the web.
Autoresponders like Aweber are not unlimited. You can not have more than 500 subscribers before they start raising their price. They never stop raising it as you keep growing. There are other services that say they are free, but that only goes for a couple hundred subscribers, and then they start doing what Aweber does, unless you want to keep your list that dinky.
When you have an unlimited autoresponder, you do not get punished for your success. No matter how many list members, or how many separate lists you have, or even how many emails in each list, you do not have to pay extra.
