Trasy Rincan: Hey everyone, my name is Trasy Rincan, your online marketing professional. Today I\’m here with Todd Falcone. How are you?
Todd Falcone: I\’m doing awesome.
Trasy: Great. I\’m actually going to ask a question that most marketers probably want to know and that is how do you recruit quality people?
Todd: That\’s my favorite subject! Bottom line is we\’re all really talent scouts in network marketing. And that\’s all we\’re looking for, right? We\’re looking for people that are quality. We\’re looking for people that are willing, able, capable of doing what it is that we do. So what I prefer to do, my preferred method is to recruit up the socioeconomic chain, going after people that are more likely to be successful in our type of business because of what they do already.
So, what do I do? I target people that are in sales, real estate professionals, insurance agents, mortgage professionals, financial planners, small business owners, people that already understand what it\’s like to be an entrepreneur. People that understand how to sell already. People that are outgoing, that are solid communicators.
It just makes recruiting much more fun. And they key thing is, in network marketing, the number one activity that leads to money is prospecting. So if you can associate more pleasure, more joy in it, you\’re going to do a lot more of it.
When you\’re going up the socioeconomic chain, you\’re going after better people that have the money, that have the capacity to do what we do. And you just get better results in a shorter period of time. What we tend to do is we tend to go down the socioeconomic chain, going after our broke friends or people that could use an opportunity.
And certainly they could use an opportunity, but generally speaking, that is the path of greater resistance. We think that\’s the path of less resistance. You actually get more resistance going down the socioeconomic chain, versus going up. When you go up one time, when you go after a good, quality person, you\’ll never go back down the socioeconomic chain every again.
It just makes recruiting a lot easier.
