As kids we had desires of doing many things when we’d grow up. But for most of us those dreams dreams remained dreams and nothing real. When asked why, we would simply say we were only kids then and those dreams were kiddie dreams. This reply cannot even convince our own hearts. It is simply an alibi for not achieving what we wanted to do. We have pushed ourselves to settle for less.

To realize dreams, we must stop convincing ourselves that our dreams don’t matter. Dreams are realized when they are worked upon confidently and diligently. Proper planning and deployment of effort can help achieve what ever one wants. One has to be practical and realistic in his approach.

A positive outlook towards things is also essential . There will be setbacks and these need to be tackled as they come. Failures should not deter one from pursuing a dream. Optimism and pessimism are contagious and hence it is important to be with those who are encouraging.

Pessimism can prevent even the best from making significant achievements. Negativity can cause depression as it prevents him from doing things confidently. There is no need for you to put with a person who tends to be acerbic all the time. Everybody has the right to be what they want and live the way they see fit. Advices should be attention but those are bossy and commanding should be avoided.

Prestense and disillusion can hide the target and hence one would be an under achiever brimming with pride without even aware of this . Though your pretense can satisfy your ego, you will at some point realize that it is all a facade and there is actually nothing that you can call your own. Despite what one has achieved, it is essential to remain rooted. Only then is possible to continue along the path of success.

Dreams help set standards and hence never lend them a condescending character. They are yours after all. For more information contact Omar Taborda
