5 Business lessons I learned from my last birthday

While I am writing this on my 31st birthday, I thought it may be useful to look back on this year in my life, as well as business. I given probably learned more about business in the past 365 days than I have in my life.

Generally my business grow (prorating fiscal year) and I removed some many customers, but most importantly I did much of the work yourself as CEO.  Therefore, instead of discussing my success, I thought will tell a few stories and subsequent entrepreneurial lessons, which I did not know prior to 365 days and these few events which forced to learn these business/life lessons.

As you read this, it is important to understand that old habits die hard, but to get to the next level, you make sure you kill them. With that said, please enjoy my essay recounting the last 52 weeks of the journey my entrepreneurs.

I hate numbers and uses them to its disadvantage, not because it could not learn them, but because I was almost afraid that if the business will be immersed even 1%, which means sand.

Thinking is very irrational, but I always embossed surface, if it was what I needed to do (marketing, recruitment, media stuff, internal recruitment and so on), the numbers would simply go away. Ignore and everything is good.

This boneheaded tactic almost hurt me and may have damaged a large company that I gave everything that I had to build what happens today. Is having a terrible, it may appear to be successful in the business to meet your weaknesses and how to make them work in your favour.

This is not all that bad, once you start working on them. Ultimately you are the CEO of your company-it should grow themselves to the cultivation of other.

Very bad habit I had when I was younger that I’ll alternating solutions on the basis of a specific emotion I was feeling that day, or even at the time. It was never quite a problem until my business got bigger and I became responsible for others.

I don’t think is intelligence, which makes the great directors of the average, rather is their ability to use their intelligence to make decisions, even in time of stress, which are emotionally taxing.

What soothes in the short term can become a pain in the long term.

In business, there is no line that must cross for your business to be true. When you land your first transaction, nobody comes to your door to congratulate you and they sure as hell not or where your business is worth ten million.

Real is what you do. I don’t think everything or nothing. This is very self-defeating.

Many people associate entrepreneurs with lavish expenses. When you become successful and things that are easily accessible to you, not over ekzoticniât you think you’re invincible in business.

My best season in Little League is, when I was 13 years of age. Remember two things from this season: my batting average and my friend A.J. father.

A.J. ‘s father is nicest person ever occur. Self educated man, he owns a construction business and when it well, it will buy boats, great dressing … and the most impressive is our Deep Fryer have in their kitchen (very high class for Toms River, the transmission system).

About two years after this season, my friend House is empty. We will sit on the floor to watch the giant TV screen, too young to comprehend how miserable he must have been for A.J. (my friend) and his father. He finally will build back up its activity, years and years later, but decomposing this story, do your best to avoid it happening to you.

Even more unfortunate, A.J. ‘s father made another serious error. Not good with numbers, and not wanting to face, father of A.J., supports many of cash lying around the House , while logic would say put in a safe place. His house was and he lost a fortune.

The story ends there. There is no positive takeaway, moreover, that maybe all those lessons somehow interfere?

The most difficult part of the management of entrepreneurs is that they do not think as servants and ensures that employees think as entrepreneurs. Many psychologists refer to this as “design”. Don’t get me wrong, if it only in the case, my life would be much easier.

For successful management of an employee, you must delegate the quantity of work for them on a daily basis or if they will be what you would describe as your life work and perceive to be wishy washy-. Although it does not sound right, is the truth.

Treat your employees with respect, not as friends and always give them guidance and knowledge, but without this not to sign non-disclosure.

30-31 Years are cramming years for me. I pretty much established it and really hoped that he linked somehow.

Now I must warn you that anyone can read this article, but a man or woman who can run on 1 or 2 will be further along in their journey as an entrepreneur. None of us is perfect and none of us ever will be, but I have a feeling that those who are nearest the waters, the most profitable lines life.
